This week, We'll look at the upcoming zone of RvR / PvE goodness, Land of the Dead. As most of us were beta testers, a large amount of the guild is chomping at the bit to be able to test this new zone! So far its been AWESOME!! Here's some videos of us owning some content. (more videos to follow) I really feel that this will help stablize the game player base. We are currently setting up groups to go dungeon crawling, since the Tomb of the Vulture Lord just went live! So get your gear and get ready for traps, skeleton, loots, and the all important ganking that will undoubtably happen.

In other news, there have been some grumbling about the game heard around the Viper Pit, but no worries, I believe that given some time the game will almost playable. I kid, but in all honesty I'm perfectly content with the new content, UI changes, and possible class balancing that will be in place only a short time from now!

In non-Warhammer news, more and more people are getting DOTA and having a blast playing with eachother! We could always use more people, if anyone is willing to try. It helps build good guild relationships, since most of the officers play, and if you're bored of Warhammer, DOTA is a great alternative. Also, if you play DOTA with us, Sant will promote you! ;P

Grats on the guild rank guys, we need to keep claiming keeps and keep that guild exp flowing awesome job.

Time to get serious again about our keeps boys and girls, If we claim a keep now I expect everyone on to show up when it's being attacked. I don't care if your on a boss in LV level 2 or kissing gremlyns mom!! BE THERE!

It is hard to believe that it has been a whole year since Dusk till Dawn was formed for the first time in beta. The game sure has changed a lot since then, all for the better. We are very proud of the great community that has rallied around the standard of Dusk till Dawn.

We look forward to many great years to come. Punch and pie will be served this evening in the Viper's Pit.

On Saturday, January 3rd, the forces of Dusk till Dawn and the Retribution Alliance captured Reikwald fortress during an alarm clock raid (Operation: Pillowtalk). This fort capture was a server first for Badlands and Dusk till Dawn had a contingent of over 30 members online which isn't too shabby for 3am.

The last month or so has been difficult for all guilds as we have seen many people drawn away from Warhammer due to real life issues and other games. The guild is still going strong and with over 69 active Rank 40 characters, our capability as a guild is second to none.

The Retribution Alliance (founded by Dusk till Dawn) remains the premier Destruction alliance on the game. We just recently added two more guilds to the alliance (PvP and Shadeleaf Mercenaries) which will further bolster our numbers and get us back into Altdorf even sooner.

Waaagh!

On Tuesday, November 25th, Mythic announced that the Averheim server had become a "source" server for character transfers. Since the source servers will be decomissioned in the coming months we needed to find a new home for the guild and alliance. The Dusk till Dawn leadership team met for several hours Tuesday night with the Retribution alliance officers and the guild leaders from the other Destruction and Order guilds on Averheim.

The end result of the discussion was that Dusk till Dawn and the Retribution Alliance have decided to move from Averheim to Badlands. It appears that there are several Order guilds that will be following our lead.

The main guild was transferred Tuesday night and we are in the process of getting all the members back into the guild.

Another week has gone by, and the excitement of Altdorf has become all but a dull shimmer in our memories. However, that doesn’t mean we haven’t stopped doing what we do best! We are continuing to take keeps and battle Order, leveling our brains out (braaaaaaaaaaainss), and abruptly finding out what Mythic perceives as exploitations. Ahhh… life is good, care for some lizard cake?

After having recruitment services open for a while now, we have turned down a lot of applications. However, in turn, we have carefully chosen those whom we think would be a great addition. Please let these new folks feel welcome as we invite them into our guild!

Dusk till Dawn and the Retribution Alliance add another skull to our necklace by being the first in the world to capture the Order capital city of Altdorf.

The fact that this is the only city that has been taken out of our 55 servers means that the system is certainly not broken, borked or really messed up. If this had already happened on just our high pop servers, well, then maybe we'd be a little worried but we are 3 weeks since the game's launch and a city has been taken on only one server. From what I've heard, destruction got real organized and did what a large organized force would do against a non-organized (not disorganized since there is no inherent overall organization unless the players make it so) force, they defeated that force. We will look at all the data, look at what's going in 1.0.3 and if we need to make some new tweaks, we certainly will do so but again, a city has only been taken on one server so far in 3 weeks.
