The Dusk till Dawn guild was formed for the first time during the start of the first Warhammer Online Empire vs. Chaos closed beta test in February, 2008. By the end of that phase, the guild had grown in numbers to approximately 40 members, many of whom are still with us to this day. DtD was comprised of FPS shooter and DAoC veterans, all of whom united with a single purpose: to utterly dominate in RvR.
Even very early in the history of the guild, it was readily apparent that Dusk till Dawn was all about RvR. If we weren't taking/defending objectives and keeps or terrorizing the RvR lakes, we must have been sleeping at the time.
The quality of our members and the testing that they performed was recognized early by the developers and some of them joined our guild during much of the closed beta.
During the Empire vs. Chaos Advanced beta test, we decided to form our own alliance called Retribution with Xen of Onslaught and Misery. To this day that alliance stands strong and is one of the most feared groups of Destruction players in the game.
Throughout the remainder of the closed beta, the Dusk till Dawn guild continued to grow in numbers and reputation within the beta community. We had the distinct honor of being the first guild featured by Mythic as part of the Warhammer Herald.
Less than one month after WAR was released, we achieved the world first legit invasion of Altdorf capital city. Stunty Stomper wrote an article about it, and you can see the original youtube video here.
Since Warhammer the guild has played other games including: Global Agenda, League of Legends and Rift but none of them has had a solid enough end game and PvP to hold our interest for long.
Today:
We are anxiously awaiting the release of Star Wars: The Old Republic. We will be playing on the side of the Sith and plan to dominate once again.
